The reading timer and recommended time

Every segment has a recommended reading time based on its length and the lesson's difficulty. It gets shorter each time you re-read, because re-reading goes faster.

Press Start timer to time yourself. The timer never blocks you, so keep reading as long as you need. Pause, reset, or finish at any time.

Want it to start on its own? Turn on Start the reading timer automatically in Profile → Reading. You can also set your own reading speed there, and every estimate in the app will follow it.
