Building your study plan

Answer six questions and get a day-by-day plan to your exam.

Open the Plan tab. The planner asks six things:

  1. Your exam date: pick one of the upcoming AFK sittings, or choose any date. Also when to start.
  2. When you can study: which days, and how long on weekdays and weekends.
  3. What to cover: your subjects, and whether to do them one at a time or mixed. Mixing helps long-term recall.
  4. How many times to review: each review pass goes over a lesson again, spaced further apart each time (2 passes is a good default).
  5. Practice tests: when to start them. A run is one full pass through all your material. Choose after your first run (the default), after your second or third run, or after all your reviews. You can also add one checkpoint test at 75% of the course, before your first run ends.
  6. The check: we add up the work and compare it with your time.

If it doesn't fit, you decide how to fix it:

  • study longer each day (we tell you exactly how long),
  • review fewer times,
  • review only the high-yield lessons after the first pass,
  • study on more days, or
  • keep your settings and see what doesn't fit.

Then press Create my plan. Everything already read is left out, so the plan only covers what's left.
